7th & 8th Extra Credit Opportunity!!
Reading:
Most of you know that you can do a book report using the extra credit template below as well as creating a book spine for the book shelves on the back wall. Each report you turn in is worth 10 points and will be added to your lowest assignment/test grade. You are allowed 2 book reports per quarter.
Spelling:
You may also chose to do a maximum of 2 extra credit spelling packets per quarter. (Again, worth 10 points each) If available, you must choose a packet from a spelling group higher than what you have been in. The entire packet must be completed, at least 80% earned, and turned in no later than this Friday to receive your points for this quarter.

Final tests over your books are this week... so make sure you get some study time in! You all have the next two weeks off from your traditional spelling so take advantage and get caught up on everything else!!

A new quarter has begun, so let's have a fresh start!! Slates are wiped clean and if you were in any way unhappy with your quarter or semester grade, now is your opportunity to make some changes and turn things around! Keep track of your homework on this site and your grades on Lumen and there should be no surprises! Remember, if you are interested in running for one of the Student Council positions, your efforts in the classroom can make or break you!

We have reached the final week before the end of the semester! Hopefully you have managed to get most if not all of your work in prior to the deadline of last Friday. We will have a few final grades from this week that will be entered into this semester's grades so make it your best work! Check your links for grade specific work!

Okay so two and a half weeks left in the semester so buckle down and make sure you are on top of everything! Be checking with all of your teachers or Lumen to ensure you have all of your work in! If you are unhappy with your grade, don't be afraid to ask about possible extra credit!

Hope everyone has had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and is ready to work hard between now and Christmas! 8th Graders - you have a book report due the week of December 12, so I hope you have at least started! 7th Graders - you also have a book report due, though not until the week you return from Christmas. Don't put it off! Get it done early!

Happy Monday everyone!! Hard to believe there is only one week before Thanksgiving break! Second quarter is going to fly by with Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks so be sure to stay on top of your homework! Both 7th & 8th graders have book reports due this quarter so be sure to go to your tab to check on due dates and expectations! Spelling is available every Thursday for the following week so take advantage of the extra time and get it done early!

Just wanted to remind you all that 2nd Quarter has begun and you all have a clean slate! It's the last week before many of you head off to MOSS and 1st Quarter ends on Friday of this week! If you are missing ANYTHING in any of your classes, I would suggest you get it taken care of no later than Wednesday of this week! I will not be taking any make-up work after Wednesday, October 26th.

Happy Monday all! Hard to believe we are over half-way through the month of September! Just wanted to remind you that we made some changes today regarding our testing days. Beginning next week, we will have our spelling and language skills tests on Thursdays. That also means that your spelling packets will be available on Thursday and due on Thursday. Hopefully this change will allow you all a larger window of time to work your tests. Please let me know if you have any questions, and be sure to see your tab for any additional information!

Woo-hoo!! It's Friday!! Though it was only a 4-day week, it will no doubt be a well deserved weekend! Our careers got underway this week... and so far, everyone is doing a wonderful job! From Housekeepers to CEO's, and everything in between, it will be an eventful semester! Happy Thursday all! Recognizing that it has been a short week, and getting spelling packets to all of you has been slow, I am giving you until Monday to turn in your spelling packets. Spelling tests will also be given on Monday so study well over the weekend!
